Five men and a teenage boy have been charged over the alleged armed robbery of a Brisbane jewellery store last month.

Shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, June 10, a group of people are alleged to have entered the Gympie Road business in Chermside armed with hammers and metal bars and wearing masks.

Police say the group fled in a grey Honda CR-V station wagon with the Queensland registration 495ZJW that was stolen from an Alfred Circuit address in Calamvale on June 8.

A 38-year-old man who was working at the store at the time suffered serious head and facial injuries after he was allegedly hit with a hammer during the incident.

On June 19, police recovered the Honda near the intersection of Aquatic Street and Weir Close in Berrinba.

Between July 11 and July 15, police carried out a number of search warrants on vehicles and addresses in Brisbane and Logan, which investigators will allege resulted in seizures of items linked to the robbery.

On Tuesday night, a 25-year-old Carseldine man and a 22-year-old Goodna man were stopped in a car in Spring Hill and arrested.

The 25-year-old was charged with multiple offences, including armed robbery, intending to cause grievous bodily harm, and child endangerment.

Police continue to seek a 21-year-old Mount Gravatt man, known to frequent the Logan and Inala areas, who they believe could help the ongoing investigation.
